Sterling is Start Writing’s literary journal. It combines original poems, stories and graphic tales acquired via a submission process, in addition to pieces created expressly for the journal through The Manuscript Club workshop.
The cover art for Issue #4 is a painting by Runt, known locally as “the Lee’s Palace guy” for his iconic murals on the exterior of Lee’s Palace. Having been a fan of his work for a while, it was a real thrill to feature Runt’s interpretation of the journal’s tagline “All Stories Matter” in his instantly recognizable style.
Between the covers are 31 original poems, plays, and graphic tales. For a full list of contents or to order your copy, visit SterlingMag.ca.
